Avatar

I haven't watched the movie as yet but here's an interesting perspective to it:
"Mer-Khamis confirmed the incident and added in the newspaper Maariv: "No one dares to make the real analogy. 'Avatar' is one of the bravest films made. It portrays the occupation, but people aren't making the analogy. Many would like to be like the blue people but don't understand the meaning. This is why people got angry at the movie theater. It is no secret that I think the Israelis are occupiers and the Palestinians occupied. Israel sits forcefully on lands that belong to others and this is exactly what the movie is talking about."

It has been nominated for the Oscars. I am sure it's going to win. It has already won the Golden Globes and other awards. I think I might just watch it but what is putting me off are the aliens but apparently it's one of it's kind. I'll see. O

O,

I want to watch it because I've heard so much about it, and yes its on the run up to be nominated, so it must be good but I'm really terrified of the aliens! I'd rather watch a nice soppy film that of course has a lovely ending! lol.

Thanks for dropping by O :)

That thought did occur to me!

Yeah definitely, even James Cameron (the director) said he made some aspects of it with the "War on Terror" in mind, so it is definitely an analogy for that.

You HONESTLY need to see it, it's amazing and topped my favourite movies list - and I only have like 2 favourite movies lol!
